This case study presentation will focus on the implementation of our Project Portfolio Management Software Solution "Corporate Vision" within the organisation new Programme Management Office (PMO). Some of the key issues dicussed within the presentation include implementation of:

Case Study from Welsh Assembly Government

The Welsh Assembly Government is responsible for most of the issues of day-to-day concern to the people of Wales, including the economy, health, education and local government. The role of the Welsh Assembly Government is to exercise functions devolved to it in order to: make decisions on matters which affect people’s daily lives; develop and implement policy; make subordinate legislation (eg regulations and statutory guidance) and propose Assembly Measures (Welsh laws).

This case study presentation will focus on the implementation of key modular components of our Project Portfolio Management Software Solution "Corporate Vision" within the Statistical Directorate for 400 users over a three month period. Some of the key issues discussed within the presentation include implementation of:

• a timesheet system for recording and analysing time spent in achieving departmental objectives
• key functionality such as job costing, approval of time, and export data ability
• security permissions and administrator capability to include the ability to "switch off" functions as required
• funtionality to provide visbility over resources used in delivering projects and key tasks
• a user friendly solution to ensure raipd adoption and rollout
• powerful reporting capability both in terms of a standard suite of reports and capable of generating ad-hoc personalised reports as required by users
